In Masters of Science I, Daan Tamminga, a master student myself, talk to master students at the Faculty of Science about their study program and their master thesis from a personal, student-framed, perspective. In this episode I will talk to Hilde Jongeling, student Business Informatics. Business Informatics is about understanding how companies use information technologies. In this talk we discuss some different approaches to do that and focus on Hilde’s interest in studying processes at companies, so-called ‘process mining’. She is applying her knowledge at the railway company Prorail and we discuss this research project; what it entails, how she found it and what she is planning to do in the future.
