On today’s episode, we hop in the time machine and explore a brief history of tabletop gaming as we begin our discussion about the impacts of gaming on us and society.

In this first episode of a multi-part series, I will highlight some of the early components that make up the things we think of as game pieces today such as boards, dice, cards, and a few more.

We also dive into the origins of the games from my childhood including Chutes & Ladders, Chess, and The Game of Life.
