On this weeks episode, we are back from our mini-trips and are bringing you the best of our London and Skopelos recommendations plus all of our usual T.V and reading recommendations. We discuss living in an age of ‘ish’ whether that be vegetarian-ish, bisexual-ish, freelance-ish, dating-ish.. the list goes on. As a society, are we now more considered in what we pledge allegiance to? Can’t we all just get over box-ticking and categorising each other? We also take a look at the affect of a ‘all work, no sleep’ mentality and what that means for us as millennial women.
Our listeners question this week is regarding how to keep a long-distance friendship alive outside the norms of meaningless chit chat.

This week we are discussing all things body related. Whether that be body confidence, how you feel about your body depending on what you're wearing and does growing up in a family that embraces nakedness change your perspective on things?
We question how we feel collectively about our bodies and what would happen if we were all a little more accepting, less critical and we got naked more often. Would it de-stigmatise and de-sexualise the naked female form?
We also answer one listeners question which concerns a high maintenance friend. We’ve all got them, but how do we deal with them? Can you be open and honest when communicating if your mate is always so defensive and competitive?
On this weeks episode we are discussing all things sex and sex education. We chat about our experiences growing up and the lack of information being presented in schools regarding consent, contraception, female pleasure and masturbation.
We also answer one listeners question regarding their sex life and that all too familiar feeling of comfort and the laziness often associated with being in a long-term relationship. We share why that's totally normal, healthy and should be cherished!

On this week’s episode of mate, we are discussing Pandora Sykes’ ELLE UK article of how the Internets trend for cancelling women has to stop. We argue why women should be given a public platform in which they can have room for error and debate without fear of being ‘cancelled.’ Also as part of Red Magazines ‘You Are Enough’ campaign we talk about failure, and how if you strive to act with integrity, follow your gust instinct and force yourself to be brave then can you ever really fail?
We answer this week’s mate-to-mate question from our listener, which is how do you know when to take a leap of faith and follow your career, even if that means making a move to somewhere new?
We have also launched a new Facebook group designed to connect all of listeners, giving you the chance to connect IRL and arrange meet ups. So please do join!

On this weeks episode of mate. we discuss the notion of ‘adulting’ and share the moments that, for us, define adulthood and peak maturity. We look at how feeling sorry for yourself and wallowing can become detrimental to how you perceive situations. It can often be hard to separate initial emotional response from the facts and we share the times we have been guilty of creating a self-pitying narrative and running with it.
On this week’s Mate-to-Mate we answer our listeners question of ‘How do you meet new people in a new city?’
