Story Transcript:

Sl: Matej je sedel na okenski polici svoje sobe v psihiatrični bolnišnici.
En: Matej sat on the windowsill of his room in the psychiatric hospital.

Sl: Zunaj je bilo pomladno jutro, sonce je pobožalo drevje, ki se je prebujalo v novi pomladi.
En: Outside, it was a spring morning, with the sun gently touching the trees awakening with the new spring.

Sl: Čez nekaj dni se bo pričel praznik cvetja, festival, ki ga ljubi od otroštva.
En: In a few days, the flower festival, a celebration he has loved since childhood, will begin.

Sl: Prav na ta festival se želí podati.
En: It is precisely to this festival that he desires to go.

Sl: Matej je bil umetnik.
En: Matej was an artist.

Sl: Njegova domišljija je bila mogočna, a včasih preveč živa.
En: His imagination was powerful, but sometimes too vivid.

Sl: Čutil je, da v njem prebiva svet, ki ga mora deliti z drugimi.
En: He felt there was a world within him that he had to share with others.

Sl: Toda zdaj je bil prestrašen in zaprt.

En: Matej stood still, overwhelmed by the colors, scents, and sounds around him.

Sl: Cvetje je bilo povsod, nebo je bilo praznično okrašeno, ljudje so se smejali in slavili novo življenje.
En: Flowers were everywhere, the sky festively adorned, people laughed and celebrated new life.

Sl: Matej se je globoko nadihal.
En: Matej took a deep breath.

Sl: Naposled je začutil mir.
En: At last, he felt peace.

Sl: Odkril je, da lepota ni skrita, četudi so zidovi visoki.
En: He realized that beauty is not hidden, even if the walls are high.

Sl: Zavrtel se je k Ani.
En: He turned to Ana.

Sl: "Hvala," je rekel, premagan od čustev.
En: "Thank you," he said, overcome with emotion.

Sl: Vikend vsa svetloba ga je prevzela.
En: The weekend's entire light enveloped him.

Sl: Ana mu je podala roko.
En: Ana offered him her hand.

Sl: "Vem, da te svet potrebuje, Matej.
En: "I know the world needs you, Matej.

Sl: In ti potrebuješ svet.
En: And you need the world.

Sl: Zdaj pa pomembno je, da se ne skrivaš pred svojim zdravjem.

Sl: "In tako sta se Matej in Ana vrnila v bolnišnico, bogatejša za novo razumevanje.
En: And so, Matej and Ana returned to the hospital, enriched by a new understanding.

Sl: Matej je sprejel svojo bitko, a vedel je, da ni sam.
En: Matej embraced his struggle, but he knew he was not alone.

Sl: Cvetje, ki ga je videl, je postalo del njega samih kot spomladanska obveza, da bo našel lepoto, ne glede na to, kje je.
En: The flowers he saw became a part of him, like a springtime pledge that he would find beauty, no matter where he was.
