Sl: Zimski večer v Ljubljani je bil poseben.
En: A winter evening in Ljubljana was special.
Sl: Sneg je nežno prekrival ulice, in mestna luč muzeja znanosti je vabila ljudi na toplo.
En: Snow gently covered the streets, and the city lights from the science museum invited people in for warmth.
Sl: Matej, Ana in Luka so se sprehajali po hodnikih muzeja, ki je bil poln starih znanstvenih eksponatov in zanimivih strojev.
En: Matej, Ana, and Luka were walking through the hallways of the museum, which was full of old scientific exhibits and interesting machines.
Sl: Bližal se je novoletni čas, in muzej je brnel od navdušenja.
En: The New Year was approaching, and the museum buzzed with excitement.
Sl: Matej je bil radoveden, a nekoliko neroden fant.
En: Matej was a curious but somewhat clumsy boy.
Sl: Želel je navdušiti Ano, ki je poznala znanost do potankosti.
En: He wanted to impress Ana, who knew science inside out.
Sl: Luka, njun skupni prijatelj, je sledil Mateju, ki je imel načrt, kako jo bo nasmejal.

Sl: S prstom je pritisnil na velik rdeč gumb.
En: He pressed a large red button with his finger.
Sl: Nenadoma se je oglasil grozljiv hrup.
En: Suddenly, a terrifying noise emerged.
Sl: Stroj se je začel tresti, in glasno žvižganje je izpolnilo dvorano.
En: The machine started shaking, and loud whistling filled the hall.
Sl: Obiskovalci muzeja so se obrnili z začudenjem.
En: Museum visitors turned in surprise.
Sl: Luka je stopil nazaj in bruhnil v smeh, a Matej je bil zmeden.
En: Luka stepped back and burst out laughing, but Matej was confused.
Sl: Poskušal je pritiskati gumbe in obrniti vzvode, vendar je stroj izpustil še več pare in žvižganja.
En: He tried pressing buttons and turning levers, but the machine released even more steam and whistling.
Sl: Zmeda je premagala Mateja, a Ana je nenadoma začela smejati.
En: Confusion overcame Matej, but Ana suddenly began to laugh.
