Today on the show we have Matt Abbott.Matt’s a graduate of Syracuse University where he was a two-time All-American. Third-team as a Junior, and first-team as a Senior. His senior year, as team co-captain Syracuse, won the 2008 national championship. That year, Matt was also a Tewaaraton Trophy finalist.He was a member of the Team USA in 2014, and 2018. He now plays in the MLL for the Chesapeake Bayhawks.Matt was a former teammate of mine at Syracuse. It was great to catch up with him. We got a chance to talk about how he thought about choosing the right school, controlling what you can, overcoming an off year and much more.
