Matt and Lars

This quote comes from an Auburn Hall of Famer and a straight shooter. The story told about the 1972, "Punt  Bama, punt" game is worth the price of admission. We had to talk about the World Series "exposure". Bama/LSU is building to the level of 2011.

Tuscaloosa's Gary Harris leads the show with the word on Tua's ankle. How will Mac Jones respond? Auburn's D will give Joe "full moon" Burrow a different look Saturday. It's a long bus ride from Louisville for a Clemson DB. Why has the defending champion fallen in the rankings?

Matty C had a brush with greatness while working the races at Talladega which set off quite a discussion. On the gridiron Matty C discusses Alabama's defense while the SEC seems a bit off kilter with Georgia's loss and UT's win. "An SUV just cut across 3 lanes of I-20!". Doing this podcast at 70 miles per hour is crazy and this show borders it as well.

The Gus bus talk is too early. Florida is pretty good. LSU? We are into the test time in the SEC. Can anyone stop Alabama's offense? A huge top of the show salute to Samford's Devlin Hodges. Matty C loses it on air when the Braves lose.

Don’t miss the hottest episode this year, literally. Matty A tests his vocal range as well as a Burgundy “checkoff!” Matty C covers paying college athletes and much more.

Matty A had it right all along. Auburn is just getting better. Bama win was pedestrian. However, the Tide offense is something to marvel even against weak teams. QB transfers, who got the best?

First and foremost Matty C made the biggest mistake in his 47 years of broadcasting. It was on me. I own it. Anyway, Bama needs a test and SC may provide one, not likely that Kent will offer AU much of a battle. UT bad, Texas also bad for their treatment of LSU band and fans. Is it a penalty to throw an opposing players cleat? And what is this Lincoln towncar talk?

Auburn's dramatic last second win over Oregon caps a wonderful initial weekend of CFB. "Pathetic and deplorable" mixed with Tua  "fantastic" highlight the Alabama reviews. Hurts leads early Heisman voting, wow! was he OU terrific! Smokey, the UT Blue Tick Hound entered the transfer portal and check out Jackson State's mascot !!!!!

The new voice of the Tigers joins the Matts less than a week away from the 2019 season. How bad or good are the Gators and 'Caines? What's the David Cutcliff factor vs. Alabama? Did Luck run out on the Colts? It's College football time on the Matt 'n Matt show!
