Why will God give us a promise and then circumstances look as if it is not going to happen?  Because God wants to build your faith while pointing all the glory to Him.  God wants you to know that He can do the impossible. 

  There are times when God will ask something so huge of us that we are positive that we can do it.  However, God knows our humanity and will encourage us to let us know that He will be with us in what He asks us to do.  God sees us how we will become, not how we are right now. 

    Most of the time we can do things that God asks us to do, even if we don't really like it. However, when God asks us to "just" wait, it seems like one of the hardest things to do.  Here is some great encouragement to get through those "waiting" times.  

    Dried up bones. We know that there used to be something with those bones, but now that something is dead. Can dried up bones come back to life? Of course not, unless God speaks a Word and then they can not only arise but they can become a real person with life again.  God is able to do that which is impossible for man.  He can speak life into a person's life when it seems that it is hopeless. He can speak life into a person who is spiritually dead.  Trust God with the impossible. 

   Have you ever heard "To lose is Gain"?  Maybe not, well with God if He tells you to ditch something that you have paid for then you better ditch it.  We might think we need to keep a hold of something because we paid money for it, but we will actually end up losing even more if we don't listen to what God is telling us.  This is a great message on how God can make up a huge difference with less by simply obeying God. 

   Jealousy is something that can be hidden in many ways and then slowly creep up on you without you realizing it.  You want to be aware of a jealous spirit in your life, and to deal with it as soon as God makes it known to you.  Matt has a great story about 2 eagles and one of them that has a jealous spirit.  Find out what happens! 

  Too many times people want to slap labels on others and predict their future of what they will do with their lives.  Nobody has that fore knowledge but God Himself.  Colonel Sanders, founder of KFC, is a fantastic example of pushing past those "false prophets" over his life and letting God determine his future!  Be encouraged by listening to this devotional.  

   There are times in life when something will rattle us to the point where we are afraid, almost paralyzed with fear.  But God hasn't given us that spirit of fear.  Matt tells us how to step forward with God and focus on Him and not our circumstances.
