We have been asked many times over the years how to start a personal quiet time with God. We can't tell each person what they need to do, but we can tell you what we do for our personal time and some of the books that we use.  

The Methodists tend to be pretty liberal, but even this was too much for them!  Listen to what pushed the Methodist leaders to fire a pastor after he overstepped even their very low bar.  

Sometimes we get caught up in what we think we want or what we think God is saying, that we don't hear what he actually IS saying!  Matt and Tracey talk about keeping an attuned ear to God's voice.
