Adam Copeland is joined by Athletic 49ers Writer Matt Barrows to talk about Trey Lance's first NFL start and how the team looks heading into the bye week. Trey Lance had some ups and downs in his first NFL start vs the Cardinals. He was rough around the edges, but really showed some flashes of what the 49ers expected from him. He did sprain his knee sometime during the game and might miss a few weeks. The bye week comes at a perfect time to get things turned around and try to get guys healthy. Matt talks about if he thinks Kyle Shanahan's comments about if Jimmy G getting his starting job back when healthy is going to happen. And they talk about the defense and how they have looked pretty good the last few games, but not as good as people expected.
