Matt fell in love with Oxycontin in high school and eventually progressed to a homeless heroin addict. He shares with us the progression from pills to a needle and the misery that came along with it. Matt’s path to recovery is truly a miracle and he is no longer a prisoner to the needle, no longer a prisoner to fears and insecurities. Today, he has purpose as a father, as a son, as a brother and as a friend. Recovery has given Matt his life and family back and he takes every opportunity to share his story and try to inspire someone who is struggling to believe that they can recover from whatever it is that they’re struggling with.
