Matt Parsons is the author of the Leanpub book Production Haskell: Succeeding in Industry with Haskell. In this interview, Leanpub co-founder Len Epp talks with Matt about his background, how he got into programming and Haskell, some of the similarities between composing music and software, the inspiration for his book, some of the challenges of getting Haskell code into production, including hiring, and at the end, they talk a little bit about his experience as a self-published author.
