Jesus proves again that He has authority over all creation (storms, disease, death, and devil). He warns those who desire to follow Him to “count the costs” because even He doesn’t have a home to lay His head. At the same time, He is the Son of Man, who identifies Himself with us even to death to take our burdens and give us hope in Him. “O Lord, bring Your divine intervention and help us to follow You above anything or anyone else. You have authority over all creation, even Satan, so help us to trust in Your gracious authority. Amen”
