Roberto Helou is a filmmaker, adventurer and storyteller who recently completed a cycle tour across Africa from Cairo to Cape Town, titled Project Africa. He’s travelled to 44 countries and counting and has amassed quite a few fans along the way, with thousands of followers on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. He documents humanitarian efforts through his content as well, producing unseen documentary content in a very unique style.
We chatted about his adventures after meeting for a hike up Lions Head and a game of Padel in Cape Town. Rob has an unquenchable thirst for adventure and I cannot wait to see where his travels take him.
