In this episode we talked about how Jesus criticized the religious leaders because they were doing things to be seen and seeking after titles and recognition. We mentioned that Jesus wants us to be humble. We talked about Ephesians 4:11-16 where Jesus gave us some titles, gifts for the Church (Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. ) The purpose of our gifts/titles is to be used to grow us all up in Christ. The Pharisees were seeking after titles for their own selfish reasons. Jesus called them hypocrites.
