Description: In this video, we have the uncut and unedited debate in its entirety between Rev. Matthew Everhard and Rev. Jeffrey Choi. These two pastors in the PCA (the Presbyterian Church in America) held a formal debate about whether the Bible permits female deacons, sometimes called deaconesses. Everhard will argue no, while Choi will argue yes. The debate was held live on April 23, 2026 at 6:00 PM in the evening on Keith Foskey's Your Calvinist YouTube channel. Thousand of people watched the debate live as it happened. The debate began with 20-minute opening arguments followed by 10-minute rebuttals. After that, there were two, ten-minute cross-examination sections where each person had the opportunity to ask the other questions that he had to answer. Finally, the debate closed with 5-minute closing arguments.
