Hey folks — welcome back to Unwritten Chapters. I gotta level with you right off the top here. This show has always been me sitting down and bleeding a little bit into a microphone, hoping maybe it lands with somebody out there. And bleeding — as it turns out — is exhausting.
I’ve been running this thing weekly, or trying to, and somewhere between the heavy stories, the rants, the ghosts of my past, and my ongoing love-hate relationship with caffeine… I realized I was running on fumes. The truth is, talking about trauma, addiction, and all the ghosts that come with service work — it’s not light podcast fare. It takes a toll.
So here’s what’s happening: starting now, Unwritten Chapters is moving to once a month. New episodes will drop on the first Tuesday of every month. That’s right — one chapter, every month, steady and reliable.
Why? Because I’d rather give you one honest, raw, fully-lived episode than four half-assed ones that leave me sounding like a ghost of myself. Quality over quantity. And honestly, it’s what I need to keep this circus going without burning the tent down.
The truth is, some stories take time to tell. They need to breathe. And I want to give them — and you — that kind of space.
So mark it down: first Tuesday of the month, I’ll be here. Might be ranting about the news, might be confessing things I probably shouldn’t into a microphone, might be walking you through the darker corners of my memory. But it’ll be real.
If that sounds like something worth sticking around for, keep the subscription, maybe even share it with someone who needs to know they’re not completely screwed. Because we’re not — not as alone as we think.
So yeah, once a month. First Tuesday. Same bleeding heart, just a little less often. Trust me, it’s better this way.
