This week Shaughn and Ellen are recording at Good Measure, just one of the many restaurants owned by Matthew Kaner!

Before getting into this Los Angeles wine icons' situation they discuss the Grape of Thrones: Xinomavro. Its a Greek grape that Ellen needs to try and Shaughn can endorse. 

They then dig into how Matthew's love of wine led to Covell, Augustine, Good Measure, his own wine line (AM/FM) and more. 

To keep the conversation flowing they crack open the 2017 Dragonette Happy Canyon Rosé. Being from Santa Barbara its a drink in homage of where Matthew grew up! It was a college roommate's father who introduced him to the amazing world of wine. He got into how much wine brings to the table and goes with food.

Matthew talks about his upcoming wine venture that would bring wine direct to you, complete with a story--check out Solovin! He also contemplates how we can make farming cool again and just how smart grapes are.
