Matthew Mania

Matthew  and Neil welcome Brett Kaplan to the show. Who’s that you say? Neil kept asking himself that same question the whole show. According to Matt, Neil has met Brett many times although Neil believes this is their first time meeting.

We soon discover that Brett is a huge wrestling fan and one of Super Fan Tye Dye Guy’s best friend. Brett gives us a little backstory on how he befriended the “The Boca Wanderer.”  He also shares the secrets of how Tye Dye Guy scores the great seats he does for all of the wrestling events.

Brett talks about BRCW and what it’s like going to the shows. Did you know Brett has been to every BRCW show so far? Neither does Neil The Heel (!), who also seems to be having a hard time getting Brett’s name correct.

We hear about the amazing bachelor party trip to Vegas that Brett went on with some of his friends. He was kind enough to tell Matthew about the trip….a week after he got home. His great time could’ve been the best time. Lesson learned. We also find out how Brett served Chris Jericho in the restaurant he works at. He told Matthew about that one too…a day later.

By the end of the interview Neil still has no idea  who Brett is but at least he finally gets his name right and agrees that the interview wasn’t as bad as he thought. And that’s what goes down on this weeks episode of The Matthew Mania Podcast.

Neil lets Matthew know that he has some good news regarding the upcoming event: we have tables! Neil talks about how he was able to score a wooden folding table at an incredible price from Craigslist. They sell merchandise?

Stacia Garcia from The Real Estate Finder Podcast joins Matthew and Neil to add some good advice on where to find tables. Neil is shocked to learn that Staci has no idea what BocaVision is. Season 3 premiered on Youtube earlier in the week.

With only three weeks to go, Matthew and Neil once again break down the Crusin’ for a Bruisin’ card. This is going to be BRCW’s biggest card to date! It’s going to be held at The VIP Ballroom at CBI. Speaking of venues, Matt and Neil discuss future plans regarding a venue they have in mind which is located right in Mizner Park. If all goes well, it will be epic!

So Money in the Bank is in London, Will Matt and or Neil be going to London? The answer is… Yes! But not for MITB. Matt will be there, but unfortunately a week after.

CCW held it’s 2 year anniversary show of Bash at the Brew in Hialeah, FL with the main event being a steel cage match  for the CCW championship between the champion, Ariel Levy against the Brazilian Destroyer, Viniciuos. Ariel was all bloodied up before he even entered the cage. In the end, we saw Vinicous pull out a box cutter, but it was to rip the ring canvas to expose the wooden planks and drive Ariel onto them. But that wasn’t enough as Ariel had outside help. Matthew was very happy that Ariel retained as he is an Ariel Levy guy. Or maybe it’s the other way around!

The show closes with a very important piece of family tree history. Matthew lets us know that Luke Perry of 90210 fame and Sideshow Bob of the Simpsons are brothers. This makes AEW’s Jungle Boy the nephew of Sideshow Bob. Now that is an interesting fact! And there are many other outstanding facts we learn all on this weeks episode of The Matthew Mania Podcast.

Matthew and Neil are back with their regular guest, owner and operator of CCW, and  BRCW partner, Nelio Cuomo Costa.

Matt, Neil and Nelio discuss what they did during the Holidays and if Santa Claus exists.

With Wrestlemania season right around the corner, they talk about main event possibilities. Will it be Roman vs Rock? Roman vs Sami? Roman vs Cody? Nooooooo! Matt thinks something different this year… Roman vs Brock! Speaking of Roman, Matt tells us about his love for the Samoan family and that he actually owns the official Hall of Fame ring that was presented to Yokozuna at the 2012 WWE Hall of fame ceremony.

There is a big wrestling event South Florida this weekend as CCW presents the two year anniversary of Bash tab the Brew featuring a Steel cage championship match between CCW champion Ariel Levy vs his long tome friend now rival Vinicious.   We hear at the Matthew Mania Podcast wish the best of luck to Ariel.

All of this, plus they break down the card for the next Boca Raton Championship Wresting show, Cruisin’ for a Bruisin’ happening on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.   2200 Yamato Road in Boca Raton.

Has it been a year since Grandma Roxy joined us on the podcast?  When we last had her, Episodes 6 and 8, I interviewed my Mom before and after her Rock and Roll cruise.  Well she is BACK, having spent a week on the Holland America Nieu Amsterdam.  Again.

And this time we are joined by Neil the Heel and Reggae Chris.  We recorded 2 episodes this week so we have a full studio.  And it was so much fun Neil and I didn’t get too much time to fully discuss the BRCW show.  Roxy was lucky enough to have attended our first show and November Knockdown.

So how was the cruise?  How was Boca Raton Championship Wrestling?  Find out now this BONUS episode of The Matthew Mania Podcast.
