Honestly, the approach of it is very lackluster, and sometimes, very unprofessional. I have a love/hate relationship with DMs. It is such a quick and direct way to connect with you guys, which I love, and IG stories has made the direct messaging pretty casual and approachable. However, there is a better way to do it. Since this is something me and my sister, Maya, talk about, I thought it would be good to share with you three ways to properly ask someone to be on your podcast or blog.

On this episode of the Mattie James Podcast, we are going to talk about platforms. We’re all seeing that this online thing is pretty lucrative, and if done right, can be long lasting. I want to talk about the best three because there are so many options. There are so many people on Instagram and Facebook, which whom I very impressed by, because so many people swear they don’t “use” Facebook, but are still on it. I’ve talked about my morning routine before but thought it would be fun to do an updated episode of what my morning routine before work looks like now. So much has changed. I have two small children now. My husband goes to a 9-5 job in the morning and I get the kids ready for school on my own. So, it’s just really important that I start my day off by myself, so that the tone is set for the day for the entire family. In this episode, I’ll share the five things I do in the morning.
