Creating a deep connection to life involves understanding how we feel- in life, about life and about our vision of what is possible going forward.

When we take time to understand ourselves- through what our feelings have to teach us, we can more easily take in all the richness that surrounds us. Our feelings are barometers. They carry information.

Sometimes it’s easier to not listen to them. But they will always catch up with us and, like most lessons, persist until we stop and listen. 

Feelings carry a richness, a picture and a roadmap. Contemplation is one way to make sense of life and to connect with our deepest self. Taking time for quiet, personal inquiry and just to experience peace is more important than ever as the world gets louder and deeply tests us each day.

I have been asking myself recently, what can I do to feel more complete and at peace in a world where on the surface, I don’t find harmony and a world that I don’t often agree with?

When I stop and think about it- I'm being tested now. I have some very specific habits that need to change in order for me, to fully walk my talk, live well and make a difference- in a world gone mad.

It is our time now. The time for deep study and analyzing – over. It has helped us to understand ourselves, but now we know. If you ask yourself, why am I here- there will be an answer.

Drama and crisis surround us. The world is in break down. Re-creation is near and eminent. But we seem to be still in breakdown as we question what’s next? Do you feel it? You may also need a roadmap? I did.

We are being asked to “look here” - then over there. Many are finding that their heads are spinning. Many feel distracted - some feel downright depressed. We are at a choice point. Where do we place our attention? How do we live well and in harmony when all around us feels so unsettled.

I started this personal inquiry and found that there are 4 main first steps that I needed to take -to take my life back and to start to live in a far more harmonious way– in these unsettled times. I have been answering some very specific questions for myself and from these questions, I created the beginnings of a roadmap to help me move forward.

So, what stops us? What's holding us back? 

When you think about the human spirit being intangible, the core of our consciousness, guided by the Divine, the source of our kindness and the source of our immortal essence- you would think we would be convinced of the power the human spirit holds.  But sometimes there is a timidity that holds us back from fully expressing ourselves and from fully showing up.

I believe it’s time to let our light shine through our Human Spirit and to share our light with the world. Join me as I share some very specific ways you can do just that. In the past few months there has been more disruptive, unharmonious things being revealed from the past or playing out in real time than we normally would see play out over a couple of year period.  Why? I say, we are the antidote. The light we shine and the promise we hold is exactly what will create the world we most want to be a part of.  This is the time to live well, to find ways to feel better that enhance our soul and to live well as a gift to the world- for our wholeness inspires others wholeness.

How do we hold on to our dreams when we don't feel inspired?

Well, if you know me, you know, I tend to have a positive outlook on life. I truly do believe that there are opportunities in the most difficult of times. And recently, I have been faced with challenges that have blurred my ability to dream. I needed to regroup. From what I hear, many of us have. 

Some challenges are personal, and some relate to the amount of chaos and disruption in the world.  As an empath, I truly do want to see the best for each of us. Yet, I /we do have hearts, and we do feel the pain of others. We are part of a unified field. We are all connected. Your pain is my pain; your joy is my joy.

In this podcast, I will share some recent challenges I have had in holding true to my own dreams and I will share some resources from my toolkit that have helped me to learn to re- dream. I will also leave you with two important questions that have helped me to find my way back to my own personal dreams. They were game changers for me.

How to live well in a whole new world- amongst uncertainty, is a question that many are asking these days. With good reason.

So, what does life look and feel like when we are living well?

The question has many different answers based on who is asking the question. And I have come to realize that there are some common themes that run through all of our lives and need to be present for each and every one of us to live well.

How do you know when it’s time to stop?

Over the past 18 months, I have not been working in or on my business. After 27 years of engaging deeply in the lives of some of the most amazing women in the world, watching them create lives that they are here to create, working side by side to discover what is next for them -I stopped – I totally stopped.

Why?

Eighteen months ago, I realized that I, myself, needed to pull in and deeply hear myself. I needed more space around me. So, I got quieter to listen – to hear what was bubbling up inside me – that in the mad rush of life I could not hear.  I moved to the countryside. I ended up with land, orchards, herb gardens, vegetable gardens and beautiful landscapes surrounding me. A deep sense of stillness filled my life. I got clear about my life and what I now most desire. I share this with you.

Where do you need to stop?
