Blank is a song that I wrote after listening to an interview on a previous Remembrance Sunday. A war widow of three months was asked how she felt. She answered 'Blank' This is based on a true story. 'Alone' is a song that I wrote after hearing an interview with a young lady that had lost her husband 3 weeks before their wedding day. She had held the reception anyway. Before the guests arrived she stood in the hall. She said that it was so beautiful and she had never felt so alone.
