"After receiving the kind invitation of Mawimbi to make this podcast it became clear that it was a good opportunity to showcase some portuguese music, from old to new. Our folk heritage is quite rich and has not yet been properly explored. I took a non linear approach, with tracks from different decades and styles that somehow have this "portuguese" feeling present. Exception for the last track, that opens our connection to Brasil, but was recorded for a portuguese label."
