Max Weiner is a talented artist and musician, which isn't surprising art and performance run in the family. His father is Marc Weiner, a long-time comedian, street performer, and actor, and was the host of his own Nickelodeon show Weinerville in the mid-1990s.

Check Your Brain podcast host Tony Mazur talked to Max about growing up in this performance enviornment and how he was inspired by his father, who took young Max on the set of Weinerville. Marc talked about the development and production of the show, getting on the radar of Nickelodeon, performing on SNL, Evening at the Improv, and Bizarre, and how his Jewish faith has impacted his life.
