Chicago needs to start to build. Buffalo needs to find an identity. Carolina & Arizona have off-ice things to sort through. Edmonton and NY Islanders need to lock their young, star defensemen into long-term contracts. Finally, teams in cup contention need to push their chips in and go for it, namely the New York Rangers.
