Love the Wire, I lived and died on the streets of West Baltimore for all 5 seasons. But the amount of love and adoration put on one character drove me squirrel level NUTTY because he wasn't the cunning criminal genius everyone thought he was. Omar Little was a stubborn, needless risk taking thrill seeker that created scenarios that hurt those closest to him as well as himself. Yes, he had the coolest lines and was lethal with the shotgun but he was all sizzle and no steak. So come down the rabbit hole with me as I bring down the so called King of the Wire brick by brick. This tiny rebellious daredevil ruled the big screen for 2 decades and I wanted to dissect and analyze his best performances and see if they withstood the test of time. So I'm climbing on the side of a plane, jumping off a skyscraper and flying an F-18 into the heart of all things Tom!!!!

Guermillo Del Toro got 215 million bucks to create a film about 250 ft tall robots who battle Alien Lizards in the middle of the ocean?! Well that's the best thing I've ever heard, and Pacific Rim delivers. A roller coaster of GIANT sized action and fun tv actors doing their best in this silly piece of B movie gold!

The perfect movie. Endlessly quotable, high minded and low browed. Every actor at their coolest, just munching on that Tarantino dialogue while Quentin creates a world of crime, murder, intrigue and the best soundtrack on the planet. What a cultural moment and I want to understand every nook and cranny of this masterpiece!

Ok so this isn't Kubrick or Spielberg but WHO CARES?! It's visually stunning brightly colored well financed shlock about a guy in a tight rubber suit beating up the criminally insane! A murderers row of a cast from Tommy Lee Jones to Jim Carey to Val Kilmer to Nicole Kidman, and it was a culturally iconic movie/moment in time, so lets dip our toe in the shallow end and have fun splashing around!!!

Richard Linklater's indie masterpiece is a unique take on the "all in one day" film we've seen over and over. Two 20 somethings connect in Vienna in 1995 and discuss philosophical questions while slowly falling in love in Europe, so simple, so kind, so warm, what a wonderful story that resonates just as heavily now. So take my hand and lets walk down the cobblestone path Linklater put before us!
