What ultimately prevents one from achieving the success they want?

Many of us could respond to the above question with a laundry list of of reasons why we aren’t where you want to be. Most people automatically find excuses and blame others when things don’t work out the way they want.

However, if success is your goal, looking outside of yourself is a strategic error. The most important lesson you must understand that you are 100 percent responsible for your life – the good and the bad.

This week I re-visit the formula E + R = O (Events + Responses = Outcome). I learned this concept reading Jack Canfield’s book “Success Principles.”

How is your self discipline? 

Years ago I I read a quote by Dr. Cindy Trimm & she stated, "The definition of success is the fulfillment of purpose.  The Key to success is self mastery."  

To date, I have never forgotten that quote.  This month is my 11 month as a full-time entrepreneur. I am quickly coming up on a year.  These 11 months have revealed to me areas where I have lacked discipline & needed to quickly develop better habits.

Today, I share with you 10 ways to master yourself and develop greater self discipline.  Your success is a byproduct of your discipline.

Women have played a major role in my life, from my mother, to grandmothers, to teachers and even business coaches.  Yes, there are great women of history I could focus on.  However, I feel there are women who today are making history in their own way.
