  • S02 E10 Bards - Class or Background?

I personally don't care for the Bard class, and I'll offer my explanation. Is it problematic as a class? should it be a background story to a great character? Do any of these new classes need to be a class?

B3 Palace of the Silver Princess

    *SPOILER ALERT*

Dungeons and Dragons, under TSR, released B3 Palace of the Silver Princess in 1983. Many brave adventurers have taken on this quest by Jean Wells. Jean was the first woman writer employed by TSR If I'm not mistaken.

  • S02 E05 Labyrinth Lord B/X Fighters and Clerics
    Classes

In this episode I hop into the classes of Dungeons and Dragons B/X and Labyrinth Lord and discuss the ones typically seen as "the most boring" when I think they aren't. My homebrew solution to help out clerics is discussed and way to approach play of these two classes to expand beyond the typical vanilla techniques of play.

  • S02 E04 Labyrinth Lord Character Creation
    Character Creation in Labyrinth Lord

Dungeons and Dragons basic character creation sounds brutal for any RPG, with just 3d6. This episode I take a close look at Labyrinth Lord RPG and how characters are rolled up and share thoughts on why it works and how I've played it.

A correction: I mention monster Hit dice as D6, it is actually D8.

    S&W Light

I take a look at Swords & Wizardry Light from Frog God Games and discuss my thoughts and why I'm using it. It's free, it's short, it's helpful.

It turns out you CAN get into Dungeons & Dragons in the blink of an eye. I really like the rules set up for this ultra light system.
