Why make an arduous trip over 1000 miles through the dessert to visit a child? Several things seemed to converge that would cause their trip to make sense. There was a common expectation at this time that something big was about to happen in Israel.

The question arises - what will happen to God’s promise of a descendant of David to rule on the throne of Israel throughout time?

this is the one attack we all face daily, and it’s the front door for the other two attacks.
