Comments made by Adam Kiciński at a recent press conference have been misunderstood to mean that Cyberpunk 2077 would not contain a multiplayer element. Not only does this contradict previous info, but there was nothing said that would suggest that CD Projekt Red has no plans for multiplayer. Rather, Adam's comments indicate that their primary focus is on delivering an excellent single-player. Also: The upcoming Star Wars open world game from EA is being ramped up; a fake Borderlands 3 logo and leak are making the rounds; Sea of Thieves is fun, but does it really contain enough content to justify the triple-A pricetag?

In breaking news this week, CD Projekt Red has purchased a new game development studio, Strange New Things, in Wrocław, Poland, to work on Cyberpunk 2077. Also: Long-anticipated pirate sandbox game Sea of Thieves finally releases; the Internet has won the Battlefront 2 battle; Paragon is dead, but its Unreal Engine assets are available for free to the public.
