Maxwell Udoh was one of Reggae music pioneers in Nigeria. In his life time before passing on Thursday, December 18, 2014, Udoh released a total of nine albums.

Born on August 29, 1959 in Ibiono Ibom LGA of Akwa Ibom State, the artiste whose real name is Ignatius Maurice Udoh died at the age of 55 after a protracted illness.  Rasman started his musical journey at a young age training under the tutelage of his uncle, Patrick Udoh of The Doves Rock Band, Umuahia, Abia State. He then went solo with the breakup of The Doves and found instant success, with Rasman Maxwell Udoh and Masses Militia Band churning out hits upon hits from their Umuahia base.
