This murder mystery film was written and directed by Ti West and is the 3rd film in his original trilogy that follow his 2 previous 2022 films, “X” & “Pearl”. Mia Goth returns to her original role from “X” and is joined by a star studded cast that include Elizabeth Debicki, Halsey, Moses Sumney, Lily Collins, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Canavale, Giancarlo Esposito & Kevin Bacon. In this film, 6 years after the events of “X”, Maxine Minx has moved to Los Angeles in hopes of becoming a movie star. However, before her career took off, a private investigator informs her that she’s being targeted by a mysterious killer all the while the LAPD have begun a separate manhunt for the man known as “The Night Stalker”. After the success of the previous 2 films, Ti West already had plans for a 3rd film in which is supposedly the final film in this story. The film hit theaters nationwide on July 5, 2024.
