We unpack a story about a mom in the Old Testament in Genesis 16 this morning on Mother's Day. We see a mom named Hagar go through a lot of affliction simply because she became a mom. We often find ourselves like Hagar being afflicted by many situations in life and it makes us want to run away and hide in the wilderness like she did. Where was her hope? Where is our hope?
