Psalm 79 provides Israel with another means through which to be exposed in their sin before the hand of God's wrath falls. Because Israel fails to sing this song consistently, its words must remind an exiled Israel to repent. Something really neat is going on with this psalm--another opportunity to champion the benefits of knowing the story of Scripture!
