Jesus was visiting Mary and Martha’s home when Martha got frustrated. She was doing all the work—and Mary was just sitting and listening to Jesus!
“Lord, don’t you care?” (Luke 10:40 CSB)
But Jesus gently reminded her:
“One thing is necessary.” (Luke 10:42 CSB)
