  1. O ye roses in the garden of God’s love, O ye bright lamps in the assemblage of His knowledge, may the soft breathings of God pass over you.
  • Behold Thy handmaiden, O my Lord, who hath forgotten all else except thee, and who has delighted herself with Thy love.
  • Be fair to yourselves and to others that the evidences of justice may be revealed…Be ye a rich treasure to every indigent one…Count annoyance and hostility as the torment of hellfire.
  • Withhold not from flowing, that living water of Thine, that murmureth with the melody of Thy glory and Thy remembrance.
  • O ye friends of God, be kind to all peoples and nations. Have love for all of them.
  • May you all be united, may you all be agreed…May you be sources of comfort for the broken in heart.
  • Say: Glory be to thee who hast caused all the holy ones to confess their helplessness before the manifold revelations of Thy might.
  • Lord, pitiful are we, grant us Thy favor. Bestow upon us a share from the ocean of thy wealth.
  • O Thou kind lord, we are servants at Thy threshold…protect us, bless us, support us…that we may become rich enough to dispense with all save thee.
