Welcome back to BrownVintage Radio Show. We are back with a new season, and I'm ready to give you more of what you don’t hear in mainstream. This show we will talk to Eddie Connor Jr., a noted author, evangelist, motivational speaker, and TV
correspondent on CBS/CW 50 who is a walking testimony. At 15, he experienced pain that most teens at that age don’t go through. He was diagnosed with cancer, but Eddie defeated all the odds. The doctor’s said the cancer was terminal BUT God said it wasn’t.
Eddie realizes that he was not born with a "silver spoon" in his mouth but was raised by a strong mother, who instilled in him life long values and the importance of governing himself as a positive individual.
He proclaimed from Psalm 118:17, “I shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord.” Eddie affirms that he was "Destined to Overcome the Odds."
A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Eddie has earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. He is a recipient of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award and continually inspires young people with messages of hope, healing, and determination.

On this show we will talk to one of my favorite artists in the business, Steph Jones. He's a singer, songwriter, model, actor and HUGE comedic personality. This is an IMPORTANT show because while Black women are highlighted on such a broad scale for their work, contributions and leadership, there are positive men who are doing the same thing but not as recognized as we would like to see. This show will be a smorgasbord of different kinds of leadership in Black males from across the globe. You will tap into their worlds as to what brings them joy. You will hear from author and motivational speaker Tony A. Gaskins, Jr., who has appeared on the Oprah Show and Tyra Show; Durik "Prince" DaJour, former host of the legendary BET show "Teen Summit," and "Rap City," who is also a radio personality and a personal growth developer. In addition we will hear from Tolton Pace, who is no stranger to the show. He has worked in radio, TV and has worked alongside radio personality, CoCo Brother. This is part 2 of Saved in Secular World. This is a topic that may not be for everybody, but I welcome those who listen. I want to find out how some folks in the music and entertainment industry remain saved being in an industry where Christianity or just having a relationship with God is not recognized or "praised." We will talk to Tolton Pace, who is a radio personality, minister, mentor, model and actor. We will discuss how he maintains his relationship with Christ. We will also talk about the entertainment industry and the future of the industry. Stay tuned it should be a great conversation!

This will be an evening to sit back and relax with loved ones or a loved one, (special companion) and listen to some grooves old and new school. I will travel back to the 80s, early 90s an onward to present day. So let's enjoy: Tis the season to love. And remember, I'm all about displaying talent that go unnoticed.

This segment will featured a Gospel group that sticks out to me. I don't see too many male groups anymore, let alone male Gospel groups, so I wanted to feature a group that people need to know more about. GI is that group. They are known as God's Image and I'm glad to see more young men using their voices for God. I will talk to them about their journey thus far.

This is just a display of independent and underrepresented artists from Gospel to R&B whom listeners may be unaware of. These artists have the potential to be more than just successful, but more people need to hear them. Listeners are welcome to call in at anytime to discuss these artists.

This conversation started on a previous segment, but there was so much to be said I decided that we shall have part two to this. We are discussing the relationships among African-American men and women. Why don't we communicate? What do we want in relationships? What are the things that we don't mind. What matters to you? Age? Education. All of the above. We will discuss all of these things that stem from Hill Harper's book "The Conversation."

I haven't had a show in a while due to my lack of motivation and my perseverance to have a certain someone on the show. And I'm still working on it. But I don't want to stop my consistency of my show so please join me to share your voice on many topics.
