In this month's episode, Ryan sits down with David Kelly, CEO of Master Builders for a Chief's Chat to discuss the hot topics raised at the Constructive Forum which was held over 2 days in August this year. Constructive is an annual industry-led event that enhances and enables collaboration in the sector where they covered the main topics of 'Empty shelves, labour shortages, and a booming sector'. 

Ryan asks David about his favourite parts of Constructive, which included the diverse array of speakers they invited, purposely making sure opposing views were represented to make the debates interesting, and how people in the sector are tackling the sustainability issue. The main take-aways from this year's Constructive event was discussion around the annual State of the Sector survey Master Builders conducted prior to Constructive to get everyone's heads around key issues in the sector, such as supply chain disruption, product availability and increasing product substitution; the rising costs of construction; and acute skilled labour shortages, as well as the growing concern with mental health and stress levels workers in the construction sector face.
