MBM-UK - Weekly studies

This week as we continue our studies in Tomer Devorah, we discuss the third and fourth attributes. We look at how this now applies more widely to whole of humanity.

We continue our study of the 13 Attributes of Mercy based in Micah 7. This week look at the phrase "He Bears Sin" and how that effects our understanding of redemption, sin and our responsibility toward GOD oand those around us.

We begin our study of the Palm Tree of Devorah; a devotional study of the 13 Attributes of Mercy. This week look at the opening statement "Who is a GOD like you?" The article that accompanies this can be found at www.mbmukfamily.com along with the podcast discussion.

In our final study in the book of Nachum, we look at how it is possible to push HaShem to the point where there is no turning back from His Judgment. This is particularly appropriate as our study took place on the 9th of Av. Notes are available at www.mbmukfamily.com

This discussion took place at our Rosh Chodesh service. The subject discussed is the vows of Numbers 30

This week we look at the beginning of Nachum chapter 3. We discuss the historical context of the destruction of the Assyrian empire, but then consider the lessons that were meant to be learnt from these events, both in the context of the southern Kingdom of Judah and how we can understand it for present age.

In this discussion we look at the events of the 17th of Tammuz and what our approach and understanding of these events should be on our present day situation. What can we learn from these events? There are no notes with this discussion.

This week we discuss chapter 2 of Nachum. We begin with a brief discussion the astronomical signs of the week and their correspondence to present and historical events. We look at the destruction of Nineveh and the parallelism with Revelation 18. Notes are available at www.mbmukfamily.com
