They may also have difficulty saying "no," seeking external validation, and expressing their opinions. * Impact:Low self-esteem can have significant consequences on mental health, relationships, and overall quality of life. It can make it difficult to pursue goals, maintain healthy relationships, and cope with life's challenges. * Causes:Low self-esteem can stem from various factors, including negative experiences, bullying, criticism, and societal pressures. * Improvement:While low self-esteem can be challenging, it's possible to improve it through various strategies, including cognitive behavioral therapy, positive self-talk, and engaging in activities that boost confidence.
