Jeff McClean says that although new inflation has successfully been tapered, older inflation is still hurting the consumer and businesses. He sees “significant winners and losers” in the A.I. trade and says diversification is critical. “Without question” the A.I. trade is being driven by “animal spirits” right now, he cautions. He doesn’t think the growth of 2025 will repeat in 2026, but still sees “great opportunities” ahead. Looking at the Mag 7, he likes Meta Platforms (META) and Alphabet (GOOGL).
