This deeply impactful film follows Ruben, a drummer for a 2-person experimental band, as he loses his hearing very rapidly. Forced to separate himself from his ubiquitous girlfriend, Lou, he takes refuge in a deaf community for recovering addicts. Ruben struggles with his life as he now knows it, and fights to regain some amount of normalcy that he once knew. Is this dramatic piece what you should watch this Friday night?
