Speaker Paul Ryan seems determined to make the capstone of his career pushing through the House of Representatives legislation granting amnesty to millions of illegal aliens.  A new poll of likely voters suggests that supporting such a bill would be a political tombstone for many GOP congressmen.

Republican legislators preparing to vote today on Mr. Ryan’s amnesty bill and another one offered by Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte ignore at their peril a brand new survey conducted for the Tea Party Patriots by highly respected pollster John McLaughlin.

He warns: “…By a margin of 61 percent to 18 percent  among GOP voters, and 59 percent to 19 percent among Trump voters – voters would be less likely to vote to re-elect a GOP Member of Congress who voted to provide amnesty for a group of illegal immigrants.”

Don’t go there, Congressmen.
