United emerged as the victors in this thrilling encounter, securing their first win against City in the Women's Super League. With this unexpected turn of events, the title race has been thrown wide open, and the final day of the season, set to take place this coming Saturday.
But it's not over City. They will return to the Academy Stadium for their last game of the season, facing off against visitors Everton. With recent results not going their way, City will be determined to finish the campaign on a high note and secure a much-needed victory on home turf.

This week, the Blues travelled to Prenton Park to take on Liverpool in the Women's Super League. It was a tough test away from home, but the team were determined to secure three points in their season campaign. Unfortunately, they suffered a disappointing defeat which they'll have to carry into their next fixture, the Manchester derby.
However, it's not all doom and gloom as the derby provides the perfect opportunity for the team to get some good preparation behind them. Our opponents, Manchester United, will be heading into the game off the back of their FA Cup final defeat to Chelsea.
But enough about recent results, let's get into the latest news from around the club. We're thrilled to have Dave and Paul back on the podcast as we discuss the appointment of Nils Nielsen as Director of Women's Football. It's an exciting time for the club, and we can't wait to see what the future holds.
