FULL BIO: Dave is known as a tennis professional, a teacher, a developer of personnel, an event organizer and a successful tennis/resort businessman who increases memberships and customer satisfaction while increasing revenue and profits. His business, teaching and cultural experiences are global – having lived, worked or traveled in most of mainland United States and Hawaii, the Caribbean, Mexico and Europe. He has trained top players from these countries and from North and South America, Africa, Middle East, Asia the Pacific Rim and Australia. Dave, now based at Green Island Country Club in Columbus, GA, has worked at every instructional and business level for Peter Burwash International (PBI), the world’s leading tennis management company, and as a consistently high performer received PBI’s highest award (Pro of the Year) in 2000 and runner-up for the award on two other occasions. He has taught clients; recruited, trained and developed tennis pros for worldwide assignments; and always the ultimate team player, when called into PBI World Headquarters from field operations, he turned that assignment into a winner, too. He developed and implemented unique recruiting and training programs for teaching pros/staff that met headcount shortages and reduced turnover and training costs while increasing business clients’ revenues and performance goals. Further, Dave secured new business through his public appearances and presentations at tennis industry events and nation/regional conventions.
