🎙️ ME BECOMING HER | EPISODE 3WHEN LIFE DOESN’T LOOK LIKE WHAT I THOUGHT IT WOULDWhat do you do when the life you planned becomes a life you no longer recognize? In this episode of *Me Becoming Her*, I’m getting real about the parts of my story that didn’t go according to plan.Divorce.Becoming a single mother.Being grateful that even though my marriage ended, that chapter gave me one of my greatest blessings, my child. Then came the years of rebuilding.I went 11 years before having another child. I dated. I met men who may have looked right on paper, but deep down, I knew I wasn’t completely happy. And eventually I had to face a difficult possibility:What if I never get married again?I had to learn that being chosen by someone else could not determine the value of my life.I had to discover who Tatum was outside of being someone’s wife, someone’s girlfriend, or even someone’s mother. And life still wasn't finished surprising me.Today, I’m a mother of four, a nursing student in my 40s, a woman of faith, an entrepreneur, a podcaster, and most importantly, a woman who is still becoming. This episode is for the woman whose life took an unexpected turn. The woman going through divorce. The single mother trying to hold everything together. The woman dating someone and quietly wondering, “Am I really happy?”The woman who thought she would be further along by now.The woman afraid she's getting too old to start again. And the woman who is realizing that maybe starting over isn't the end of her story.Maybe it's the beginning of HER.💕 One thing I’ve learned:Don’t build a permanent life out of temporary fear. You don’t become HER because someone finally chooses you.You become HER when you choose yourself. If this episode speaks to you, comment "I’m becoming HER” below. 💕Share this episode with another woman who needs to hear it, subscribe to the channel, and turn on your notifications so you don’t miss the next conversation.🎙️ ME BECOMING HERReal life. At 16 years old, I had a vision of my future: four children.
Today, I’m a mother of four. And while motherhood has become one of the most beautiful and defining parts of my life, somewhere between raising children, building a home, pursuing my dreams, and taking care of everyone else, I realized something:
I’m still me.
In Episode 2 of Me Becoming Her, we’re talking about the part of motherhood that women don’t always say out loud the tension between loving your children deeply and still wanting an identity that belongs to you.
We talk about mom guilt, losing yourself in motherhood, chasing dreams while raising children, and giving yourself permission to evolve in a season where so much of your life is devoted to everyone else.
Because becoming a mother didn’t mean the woman I was supposed to become disappeared.
She was still there.
And sometimes becoming HER means finding your way back to her.
🎙️ Me Becoming Her
Episode 2: I Love Being a Mother, But I’m Still Me
If this episode speaks to you, follow the podcast and share it with another woman who needs the reminder:
You can love being their mother and still choose to become HER.
Who is HER?
We hear it everywhere: “She’s HER.” “I’m becoming HER.” But what does that really mean?
In the first episode of Me Becoming Her, Tatum Minerva challenges the picture-perfect version of womanhood we’ve been taught to chase and gets honest about what becoming really looks like. From motherhood, relationships, divorce, career struggles and starting over to faith, healing, purpose and learning to embrace every version of yourself, this conversation is about the in-between that people rarely talk about.
We’ll also look at powerful women in the Bible including Esther, Ruth, Hannah, Deborah, Mary Magdalene and the woman at the well and what their stories teach us about courage, waiting, loss, transformation and purpose.
Because maybe HER isn't the woman who has it all figured out.
HER is Healing. Evolving. Reclaiming.
And becoming her isn't about becoming someone else. It's about becoming the woman God created you to be. 🩷
