Hey mmfatr fam,
I've been lowkey slacking because releasing this podcast to a small audience can be very embarrassing. I feel every week I release a new episode into the ether and nobody cares. So I've been very discouraged but, recently, two of my friends said that they listened and it made me really happy.
Like I realized that even if my work impacts only one person, and it actually reaches them, I've made a difference. I've realized that I should unlearn these expansionist ideas of success in order to truly do fulfilling work. So now I feel motivated to actually post these episodes on time hahaha
Anyways, this is Imani's episode! She is my sister and my partner in crime. A lot of my brain cells have sprouted during discussions about race, gender, and capitalism that I have with her. And I am so proud to have her as a thinker and a peer in my political life.
