When questions around calling or other types of discernment arise, the Quakers have a saying. "Way will open," they say. But what happens when way does not indeed open? What do we do when way actually closes, leaving us disappointed and questioning our calling and our longings? In this episode, I share a story about a moment when way opened suddenly and then closed just as abruptly and how I can now see the good gifts in the disappointment. Listen in.
