It’s Tudor Week! You know, Tudor week! yeah that’s right, that classic week of GBBO where everyone bakes their swans and dies of the plague (history is not our strong point). Come inside, and have a listen and see what we thought of this monstrosity.

It is botanical week (no we don’t know what that means either) in the tent. With contestants quickly being whittled away, Marianne and Hitch do their best, and finally make catch up with the rest of the world after their hiatus.

Finally catching up to the show, week 5 - pastry week - separates the yolks from the egg whites. In an emotional episode, underpinned by further allegations surrounding the end of the BBC’s GBBO adventures, the comedy lovers (Marianne MacRae and Richard Hanrahan) dispense their usual brand of dairy-free nonsense.

We are catching up, this week joined by our friends Alex and Craig to belittle the efforts of our fellow bakers through batter week. This week we also pose the important question: who will replace Mel and Sue as the hosts when the GBBO moves to Channel 4? Find out our top tip!

After a two week absence due to a quick trip to Shanghai the bitch off is back! It is bread week in the tent, for some the most important of weeks, and as usual we slice through the action like a hot knife through a ceremonial ribbon made of butter.
