Israel chose the way of the world, desiring a king, rather than living under the authority of God and His Word. We do the same very often today, but the world will never lead to flourishing in life.

God's design for human flourishing as male and female was established at Creation. Man was created to lead the family and church. Woman was created to compliment man in the tasks God had given. The work could only be completed by man and woman together.
